You can delete your Caseta account yourself in the app, or ask us by email. Either way, everything goes.
What deletion removes
- Every tape you made, including drafts.
- Every voice recording and uploaded audio file.
- Every picture you uploaded: covers, stickers and your profile photo.
- Every loan, so anyone you lent a tape to loses access at once.
- Your profile (name, email address, user id) and the account itself, including a Google or Apple sign-in link.
The sign-in security records that Firebase Authentication keeps (IP address and device details) are held by Google under its own retention for security logs; see the Privacy Policy.
This cannot be undone. There is no recovery period and no backup you can ask for. If a recording matters to you, save a copy before you delete.
In the app
- Open Caseta and sign in.
- Go to Profile (the last tab).
- Tap the settings gear.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm. You may be asked to sign in again first, to prove it is you.
Deletion happens immediately. You are signed out and the account is gone.

If you cannot get into the app, send an email from the address on your account to contact@dnatechbase.com with the subject line:

The email has to come from the account's own address; that is how we know the request is yours. We delete the account and everything listed above within 30 days of receiving it, and reply when it is done.
